it's almost the weekend!

this week has been the longest YET! but it's almost over now, and i'm thoroughly looking forward to the weekend (and KU football! ROCK CHALK!).  

here's some of my better lemur sketches! these ones i am going to refine and re-work for next wednesday.

my main focus for these sketches is to make them undeniably lemurs.  i think that this will be most tricky for the bottom two (graphical and shapes) because they are more abstract. the other thing that i want to do is to watch videos on youtube of lemurs, so that i can get a better sense for how they move and interact with their environment.

as for typography, we have been working on weather grids! which now that we are adding color and shapes, has been a lot more fun. (margie's color theory class has helped me out a lot...)

and i'm sure these will be worked on and tweaked...i still have a lot more to do :p
